OCEAN LIFE: A CELEBRATION IN MUSIC
|
Item Number: MM122
Untitled Document
Ocean life has been an endless source of inspiration for musicians and composers alike. Whether it's the impressionist masterpiece, La Mer, or the joyfully playful Octopus's Garden, our oceans continue to inspire musical creativity. OCEAN LIFE: A CELEBRATION IN MUSIC was produced specially for the American Museum of Natural History, in celebration of the grand re-opening of the world renown Hall of Ocean Life. The CD contains a diverse collection of wonderful music and songs from classical pieces to jazz standards - about oceans, fish, dolphins and other marine life. Included are recordings by Duke Ellington, The Persuasions, Rosemary Clooney, Woody Herman and Stan Getz. A family favorite. Running Time: 60:17
